FAQ - DOMANDE FREQUENTI


  • HOW MUCH ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?

Shipping is the responsibility of the customer and and the amount depends on the country where the parcel will be sent.

  • HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

The goods are dispatched from our premises by the courier no later than 10:30 a.m. (every working day, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). All orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following day.


Once the goods have been dispatched, delivery is made in 3-5 days throughout the world by FEDEX and/or DHL express courier. Upon departure, the customer will be notified of the shipment with an email containing the tracking number of the courier company in charge.

  • HOW DOES DELIVERY TAKE PLACE AND WHAT HAPPENS IF NO ONE IS AT HOME?

Courier delivery times (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) are at the discretion of the driver in the area. If there is no one at home on the first delivery attempt, the courier will retry delivery the next day, if the second attempt is not successful, the parcel will go into storage and the customer is required to contact us to proceed with the release of the parcel.

  • IS IT POSSIBLE TO PICK UP THE PARCEL AT A COLLECTION POINT?

Yes, just enter the address of the pick-up point you want in the shipping address.

  • WHAT SHOULD I CHECK UPON DELIVERY?

*That the parcel is undamaged, not damaged or wet and conforms to the standard characteristics of a parcel;


*That the number of packages (number of parcels) indicated on the transport documents corresponds to the number of packages actually delivered;

N.B.: Any disputes must be raised immediately with the carrier, who must provide the option of signing the delivery slip ‘WITH RESERVE’ so that we can open an insurance file in the event of non-compliance of the goods. In the absence of this, the product shall be deemed to have been delivered correctly; all documents contained in the special pocket on the outside of the package shall be retained. The courier is obliged to deliver the parcel only after signing the delivery slip

  • WHICH PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?

  • Credit Card: when purchasing goods by Credit Card payment method, the credit card is charged at the same time as the online transaction is concluded. Credit cards accepted: MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, American Express, Aura, Discover.
  • Payment in instalments:if you wish to pay for your order in instalments, you can use the scalapay payment method, which allows you to divide your order into 4 instalments, or take advantage of Paypal's 3 instalment service.
  • Paypal payment: use your Paypal account.
  • Bank transfer: all the data required to issue the bank transfer (account holder, IBAN, reason for payment) will be visible in the order summary. Once the bank transfer has been made, the goods will be shipped as soon as the credit to our account is visible.

  • NOTE: As soon as the transfer has been issued, please send a copy of the account to info@gpsmele.it or 3351665111.

    If within 3 working days the credit on our account is not visible, the order will be considered cancelled and the goods will be put on sale again.

  • HOW DO I HAVE TO WITHDRAW FROM THE PURCHASE?

1. To request return authorisation, the Customer must send a request to the e-mail address info@gpsmele.it or to the number 3351665111 within 14 days of receipt of the order. The message must specify the codes of the items to be returned. Once the request has been received, GPS MELE will send the Customer a confirmation by e-mail.


2. The goods must be carefully packed to avoid damage during shipment. The original packaging must be used and the product must be complete with everything originally contained. We recommend shipping by insured carrier.


3. In case of loss, theft, or other damage, GPSMELE.IT reserves the right to charge for any damage incurred.


4. Items must be returned to GPS MELE.IT within 10 days of authorisation by e-mail to the Customer from the Returns Department.

Upon arrival of the goods, GPS MELE will check the integrity of the goods and the presence of all products accompanying the original product.

  • WHEN I MAKE A PURCHASE, IS A SALES DOCUMENT OR ACCOMPANYING INVOICE ISSUED?

When a purchase is made, the customer may choose whether to receive a sales document or accompanying invoice. In the case of the accompanying invoice, the customer may specify invoicing data other than the shipping data. In both cases, the documents are placed in a sealed envelope and sent with the goods in the space reserved for transport documents.

  • SALES DOCUMENT

Indirect electronic commerce transactions are assimilated to mail order sales and, therefore, are not subject to the obligation to issue an invoice (unless requested by the customer no later than at the time the transaction is carried out), as provided for in Article 22 of Presidential Decree No. 633 of 1972, nor to the obligation to certify by issuing a receipt or fiscal receipt pursuant to Article 2, letter oo) of Presidential Decree No. 696 of 21 December 1996. Indirect e-commerce is defined as a commercial transaction that takes place electronically but is followed by the physical delivery of the goods to the customer's home through traditional channels, i.e. by carrier or forwarding agent (see Resolution No. 312/E of 21 July 2008, Resolution No. 133/E of 15 November 2004). The sales document is valid for the purposes of the guarantee of the goods purchased and it is therefore essential that the customer carefully retains this document that proves to all intents and purposes the purchase and certifies the regular guarantee. In the event of loss, a certified copy can be requested by sending an email to info@gpsmele.it indicating as the subject ‘Copy of Sales Document’ and in the text of the email the date and number of the sales document or the relative order number.

  • ARE THE SALE PRICES ALREADY INCLUSIVE OF VAT?

All prices on the GPS MELE website are intended as retail prices and, therefore, include VAT (22%). GPS MELE reserves the right to change prices at any time, without prior notice.

  • HOW IS CUSTOMER DATA HANDLED?

The personal data requested when placing an order are collected and processed in order to satisfy the express requests of the Customer and will not under any circumstances or for any reason be passed on to third parties. GPS MELE guarantees to its customers the respect of the regulations regarding the processing of personal data, governed by the privacy code as per DL 196 of 30.06.03. The Customer, at any time, has the right to revoke consent to the processing of personal data by written communication to be sent to the registered office of GPS MELE . Marketing communications will be sent only with the explicit consent of the Customer given together with the authorisation to the processing and sending in the online registration form.

  • WHAT RISKS DO I RUN BY MAKING A PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD?

There are no risks; credit card data (number and expiry date) do not pass through our server but are sent directly in encrypted form to the Secure Server (SSL) of our institutions (BCC, Pay-Pal). The credit card payment system is guaranteed by BCC, via a protocol with certified 128-bit SSL encryption. Withdrawal of the amount, only takes place after the order has been checked, invoiced and dispatched.
